Getting a U.S. Stateside Representative / Opting out of unwanted calls, emails, and junk mail

Did you know that you can request a US representative when calling customer service with your Medicare plan?

  1. When an offshore customer service rep answers your phone call, simply ask for a US Stateside Representative.
  2. If they try to delay by asking how they can help, I politely respond with: “I would like to speak with someone in the United States please.

Currently there is no federal requirement for them to respond to your request, but I have never been denied a transfer so long as it was during normal business hours.
